Tester :-

Continuity tester is a simple
instrument and easy to operate.
Continuity tester is suitable for checking continuity of any
electrical circuit.
CONSTRUCTION:-The casing is made of unbreakable plastic. In principle it consist of a neon indicator activated by two
penlight cell which normally last for many hundred testing.

|
INSTRUCTION :-
(1) Connect both ends of the circuit at the firing point to the contact socket (terminal).
(2) Press button to make test, If the circuit is complete the neon will glow, if not there is a break in the circuit.
(3) The shot firing cable is tested by connecting the two wire of one cable end to the continuity tester.
If the two wires on the other end are free, the neon will not glow. If it glows, this indicates a shot circuit some where in the cable.
If on the other hand, the neon does not glow when the two wires at the free end of the cable are connected to each other, then there is a break in the cable.

The stand, made of non-ferrous metal is ideal for the unwinding of detonating fuse safely and quickly. Before laying, the spool of detonating fuse is conveniently pulled, protecting the inner explosive layer from damage, thus avoiding misfires. It is tough and can withstand rough handling.

Shot

For optimum / better care of lead lines (Shot Firing Cable), and to avoid misfires they should be rolled up every time after use. Cable drum are ideal for this as they save time and prevent entangling of badly coiled lines.
Shot firing cable is often subjected to wear and tear due to lack of proper attention because it usually remains use for a long time and if faulty cause trouble in whole succession of blasts.
To protect the shot firing cable from being twisted and damaged during storage, we have observed that the life can be increased if it is reeled up each time after use.

This saves much time that is wasted on disentangling badly coiled cables. These CABLE DRUMS are robust and specially made to suit the Mining Industry.

High Explosives is a dangerous material and with little negligence in transporting has result in number of catastrophes in heavy loss of human lives and properties in the past. Thus transport of explosives with all precautionary measures under safety rules has posed a problem to its users. To solve their problems we have devised an ideally suited carrying box for transport of High Explosives and Detonators.

SPECIFICATION
Construction: All Welded, made from steel lined
white wrap proof wooden board. Hinged rests horizontally to provide a clean platform.
Dimensions (inner): 315 mm x 255 mm x 140 mm.
Security: Filled with strong dead locks and two additional loops for pad lock.
Capacity: High Explosives 5 kgs, or PATENT No.143684 Detonators (ordinary/electric) 200 nos.
These Transport Boxes can be used for transporting small quantities of explosives from magazines to site, or for carrying small quantities of explosives from the dealers, magazines to storages licensed in form 22.
NOTE :-
1. Detonators are not allowed to be carried with any other explosives in the same box and a box carrying detonators are to be fixed one
meter away from the box carrying other explosives.
2. A set consists of two boxes (one for High Explosives & another for Detonators).
