CHARACTERISTICS :-

MECPOWER-I
is a booster sensitive aluminized slurry explosive.
Because of its gelled consistency, MECPOWER - I
provides maximum bore hole coupling and achieves high
bore hole density resulting in maximum energy transfer
to surrounding strata. MECPOWER-I provides high degree
of safety from impact and friction. Produces minimum
noxious fumes on blasting. Could be initiated by
MECFORCE or MECFORCE (H) of similar diameter. Gel is rigid,
well cross linked and resistant to water. |

APPLICATION :-
It is an excellent column charge when primed by MECFORCE or
MECFORCE (H). Because of its low density, MECPOWER-I helps
to build up column inside the bore hole. On suitable
combination with MECFORCE, it imparts heaving effect to the
rock suitable for breaking
medium hard to hard rock when boostered with MECFORCE OR
MECFORCE (H).
